Who we are

This website is run by CurrentFlow Electrical Ltd, an electrical contractor based in Chessington, Surrey. We are the data controller for the details you send us. You can contact us at contact@currentflowelectrical.com or on 07735 991391.

What we collect

• The details you type into an enquiry form: your name, phone number, email address if you give one, the postcode of the job, the type of job and anything you add about it.
• Which advert and page version you came from, so we know which adverts bring in enquiries.
• If you accept cookies, Google Ads cookies that record whether you clicked one of our adverts and then got in touch.

Why we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and quote for the job. The lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
• To measure which adverts work. For cookies the lawful basis is your consent. For counting enquiries per advert it is our legitimate interest in running our advertising sensibly.

We do not sell your details, add you to a mailing list or use them for anything other than your enquiry.

Who else sees it

• Agass Marketing Solutions, who manage our Google Ads. They may see enquiries that came from our adverts so they can measure which adverts work.
• Cloudflare, who host this website.
• FormSubmit, the service that delivers form enquiries to our email inbox.
• WhatsApp, if you choose to message us there.
• Google, only if you accept cookies, to measure advert performance.

Some of these companies may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they use safeguards recognised under UK data protection law.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any job that follows, and for up to two years afterwards for our business records. Google Ads cookies last up to 90 days.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the details we hold about you, object to how we use them, or withdraw your consent to cookies at any time using the Cookies link at the bottom of the page. Email us and we will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
